Thank you for your interest in booking a session with me! These sessions are designed for families, newborns, couples, and maternity to receive a mix of candid and posed photographs.
After confirming your booking, please ensure you have read and signed the SESSION CONTRACT.
Kelowna family photography sessions focus on capturing what’s important. Feelings, emotions, and life’s big and small moments. It’s an interactive way to have your annual portraits done. These sessions can happen anywhere, but my favourite sessions are where I come to your home or somewhere important or special to you and your family. You get only a few short years with your kids. It’s always a good time to get photographs to pass down to your kids that evoke real memories of their childhood. In these sessions you’ll see how much you truly are loved and appreciated as a parent.
WHAT DO WE BRING?
HOME: Nothing
OUTDOORS: Please plan 3-5 activities to do as a family. Activities that allow everyone to connect are best. Please limit very physically active activities to a minimum to keep your group together. Ideas are at the bottom of this page.
WHAT DO WE WEAR?
Please dress casually and comfortably. Something that you feel comfortable and beautiful in. Ensure that clothing is free from large visible logos, rips, stains and please avoid bright white for outdoor sessions. And of course, always dress for the weather. Layering is usually the best.
DO WE CLEAN THE HOUSE?
If you would feel more comfortable having a clean home, please feel free, but know it is not required. I love cozy homes with character. A home with personality is the best kind of home.
WHAT IF MY KIDS ARE NAUGHTY?
Would it be a normal day if the kids were on their best behavior the entire time? Some of my favorite images show just exactly how real life is. Tears included.
CAN WE HAVE PORTRAITS?
All of my sessions include time for portraits.
PAYMENT
Session fee is due at the time of booking to hold your date and is non-refundable. Should you need to reschedule, please let me know 7 days prior to your session and I will transfer the fee to your new date. For product purchases, I accept payment plans. It’s important to me that you have your images. I accept cash, cheque, PayPal, e-transfer and on occasion VISA and Mastercard.
HOW TO BOOK
Contact me! We will discuss what type of session works best for you. Once your session fee is paid I send an online contract and questionnaire. After that, I meet you and we hang out. I do all the photographing while you live in the moment. After your session we will schedule an in-person ordering session.
